Paul Widdison and Stacy Palen emerged victorious on the Weber School Board District 4 primary election Tuesday.
Up for grabs in voting are six contests on the Republican side, one Democratic contest and three non-partisan school board races.

The grants, totaling $150,000, will be used at four schools in Roy and at Odyssey Elementary in Ogden.
Lane Findlay, Weber School District spokesman, said Thursday that recommending mental health teams in every school in the state was a step in the right direction.
Ogden School Board of Education District 2 has three hopefuls and District 4 also has three contenders. In Weber School Board District 4, a businessman and a retired policeman will face the incumbent board member.
The 11 recommendations were split into three groups and categorizing based on the support each received in the commission.
The agenda seeks changes in education, criminal justice system and health and environment. It also pushes for community and economic development and support for black youth and seniors.
